Early voting for the Wisconsin primary (also called In-Person Absentee voting) runs from July 26 to August 5, but specific dates vary by municipality.

Voting By Mail

Anyone can vote by mail in Wisconsin, no excuse needed. Request your mail ballot by August 4 and mail it back at least one week before Election Day (August 9) or return it in person. Note: your mail ballot must be signed by a witness. You should mail back your completed ballot by August 2, one week before Election Day, or return it in person.

Polls are open 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9.

To vote in the primary, update your voter registration, or register for the first time, by July 12, 2022. You can still register for the November general election.
