Polls are open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8. Don’t forget your photo ID!

Voting Absentee

You may qualify to vote absentee if you will be absent on Election Day due to travel, work, disability, or another reason and can return your ballot in the mail or bring it directly to your clerk’s office.

Registering to Vote

You can register ahead of time with your town or city clerk’s office, or register at your polling place on Election Day with proper ID. You’ll need to prove your identity, age, citizenship, and residency with approved documents or by signing an affidavit.

I.D. requirements

To vote in New Hampshire, you will be asked to present an accepted form of photo ID. If you don’t have one, you can still vote by filling out an affidavit.
